The company held summing up meeting of the business running for the first quarter of this year in the afternoon of April 12th, 2007. At the meeting, every managers of the business departments gave the detailed and comprehensive reports regarding their business done in the first quarter, and at the same time they also depict the exhaustive forecast on the business turning in the second quarter. At the end, the general manager of the company and the functional department made an important speech in summing up the management work for the first quarter and emphasized the new requirements in the business turning of the second quarter.

           The company's business running results are excellent both on the business scales and the profits in the first quarter. With the arrangement by the Beijing head office, we declared to import crude oil 180000 tons at the customs. On the other hand, the total quantity of the chemical products which we exported and sold in domestic have grown 8 times as compared with the same period last year; the business turnover both the import and export have grown 79%. The quick development tendency was shown by the export and import business in the first quarter. The profits of the first quarter have been grown 26% as compare with the same time last year.

          To make further progress and to speed up all-round development both on domestic and international business in the second quarter, the general manager of the company stressed that all the business departments should adhere to the scientific development concept,  to continuously march on the way of “pioneering spirit and bring forth new ideas” and to continuously change the  business ways and means. And the general manager hopes to maintain the development tendency both on scales and the benefits in the second quarter. At the same time, the general manager emphasized to continuously strengthen the construction of the inner- quality- controls all the times, to strictly keep watch the business risks and to accurately make input data to the SAP software on time according to the stipulation of the Beijing head office.
