The Sulphur is the basic raw materials to the chemical production and its main application is to produce Sulphur Acid. Since 2007, the price of the Sulphur is growing continuously in the international market and from April, the price soaring to Sulphur is up to US$125-130 per MT (CFR base). And the price has been increased to 67-73% than that of the beginning of this year. Speaking to the world production and consumption, there is no testimony to show that the present world production and consumption is decreased or increased. But the news says it is because of an artificially imposed price skyrocketing to the Sulphur.
